The studio behind the work
Arellano Studios is an American design house rooted in craftsmanship, story, and legacy.
Founded by Jason and Lindsey Arellano, the studio creates heirloom lighting, metalwork, and decor drawing inspiration from the American West, the warmth of mountain lodge living, and the spirit of the southwest.
From ranches and retreats, to residences and restaurants, each piece is designed and crafted to become part of the story of the space it inhabits.
Jason's creative perspective was shaped early growing up in Taos, New Mexico- a land rich in art and culture. This foundation instilled an appreciation for thoughtful details and intentional craftsmanship. He continued his pursuit of excellence as a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps, completing two tours and receiving a Purple Heart. Following his military service, he spent years in commercial and high-end residential building in Kansas City, developing an understanding not only of how things are made, but how exceptional spaces come together.
In 2021, Jason and Lindsey moved their family to the Ozarks to begin a new chapter. Lindsey's uncle, Stan Combs, had spent more than two decades building Rustics, an Oklahoma metalwork and decor business. Jason trained alongside Stan, learning techniques, processes, and knowledge developed over a lifetime. The family legacy continues with The Rustic Patina.
Arellano Studios work draws from the enduring character of Americana with plans to expand into modern design and Spanish influence. Though the collections may differ in expression, they share a common philosophy: create with intention, build without compromise, and make pieces worthy of being passed to the next generation.
